DRAWING WITH PEN & INK
Liam primarily uses fineliner pens on cold-press rough textured watercolour paper to create his architectural illustrations. Relying on traditional methods of drawing and using the rules of perspective to create his complex compositions. The technique most used by Liam is tight layers of crosshatching. Using very fine nibs to allows for more layers of ink this creates more depth and a richer variety of values.
